Well just to clear things up a little. I tried to get DSL from other sources
other than USWest, but it seems that they all had delays for some reason
(you would believe how many phone calls I made), but the funny part is US
west was able to get it to me in a week. ( Assumption) Being USwest controls
the line into my house, if other DSL providers tried to get it for me I
think US west dragged there feet ( I assume that is how it works). As a
result I call uswest to get DSL ( they get the biz).
The problem is they only have DHCP for their ISP unless you want to pay an
extra 14.99 a month for a static IP. So To make this short I'm stuck with
USW for 3 month (DSL), but I can change ISP at any time, which is what I'm
looking to do, this way I can still get a static IP without being charge for
leaving USW.
Question: who at Real-Time do I call, have a number?
Thanks for listening
Rodney.
