I have lines to old kernels, but they won't boot either. In fact, I can't boot with a rh5.2 boot.img kernel when I type 'rescue root=/dev/hda1' at lilo. There is something about my root partition that crashes linux on the remounting of root partition read-write regardless of the kernel. Any ideas? Thanks as usual Ben lueyb@carleton.edu
