 I put redhat 6.0 on an ultra 30 with the ultrasparcII 250 chip and as i
do a cat /proc/cpuinfo its pulling 494.79 bogos. ive only had it on for a few
days but it is definitely faster than when it had solaris 7 on it. im running
an sparc64 kernel compiled using egcs64. i also have a 533 alpha and its bogomips are 529. before the sun box was way slower than the alpha but now the seem
to be pretty close in speed.
