Re: [TCLUG:6489] Qwest bids for USWest Really RE: DSL




From the onvoy.net Web site:

"The availability and speed of each HyperLinkSM and HyperLinkSM Pro
service is dependent upon the distance from your location to your
telephone company's serving central office."

I'm not sure what that means, exactly, but it sounds like it may mean I
have the same problems I have with USWest. I'm gonna call to make sure.
Perhaps I could at least qualify for the 144k service. I'd prefer faster,
but 144k would sure beat the pants off my 33.6 modem!
