Does /etc/exports have the correct entry for the machine that wants to
mount?  I've had some trouble with this.  Wildcards only seem to work
with domain names, in my experience.  The most success I've had is by
listing the machine's IP directly in the exports file.  You might also
have to add the insecure flag.  This is something I know changed when I
upgraded versions of mount.
