The most interesting thing in this article was this quote:  "We see the 
open source community as something of a pot-luck, and we think IBM and HP 
are showing up to the party empty-handed," said Brian Croll, director of 
marketing for Solaris.

That's the perfect analogy for Linux: a pot-luck.  You get tons of yummy 
free stuff...but it can be embarrasing if you don't contribute something too.

Now if only my C hacking was as good as my guacamole...
