Thanks, Bob.  I appreciate your helping me with this, even though I am
not a RTE customer.  OK, the only problem I had was not being able to
upload the config, but the numbers were still in the memory.  The 675
was basically telling me that it had its config, but I had to erase the
nvram and reset the ppp uname/password and the eth0 addr and netmask. 
It did not work for me to just do that before I erased the nvram, I had
to erase it before it would work.  Perhaps I did something wrong?  I do
not know.
