        depends what you mean by "remote instance". if it'll run on your X
desktop on the remote machine, you can use it. (VNC just shows an image of
your remote desktop). on the other hand; chewie is right in that it is not a
proper X server, and won't display just one X app's window.

        However, it *is* fully open-sourced; so if you want more
functionality, you know what to do. :)
