You could always append a form feed to the end of the last page???

        well, it sort of works. "type c:\temp\hc.lst > lpt1" works too, now
that I try it.
        neither ejects the page; for better or for worse.
        didn't think DOS was capable of treating a device as a file; guess
it will.
        now how do I send a "page eject" signal? if I could do that i can
write my own "print" script.
