Stranger and stranger....

Testing seems to indicate that rc.local is not getting executed on boot, though
runlevels 3 and 5 for sure are set to receive it....

Also, now, when the screen blanks on me, it loses the keyboard, so I have to
power off...yuck...!

I've got to get this fixed...
