RE: [TCLUG:8792] Multiple Ethernet Woes



Actually, I always forget which is which, but one is the Vortex chipset, and
the other is the Boomerang chipset. The Vortex drivers are compatible with
both. I want to say the 595 is the Vortex and the 905 is the Boomerang,
since I remember the 595's being supported first, then the 905's were added
internally to the 595 driver, and it's always been called the Vortex driver.

Oh, and I always call all 590/595's just 595's, since the latest 595 driver
always worked (ttbomk) for the entire 59x line.
