Erk, those things are _expensive_. That, and I've heard nothing but bad
things about them as far as performance. The Foundry load balancing
equipment is _much_ cheaper, by several orders of magnitude, and performs
better in many cases (I have my reservations, but it's relatively nice
gear); the F5 Networks Big-IP load balancer is also good, though not quite
as cheap. My point being, there are enough good alternatives that you
shouldn't pay what amounts to a huge Cisco tax (i.e. you are paying so
much _just_ because it has a Cisco logo on the front) to get sub-standard
equipment.
