Road Runner

Hi guys....
I am a windows user without a clue.  You guys helped
me slap Caldera on my system at your installfest.  I
use Road Runner and want to get on the net.  Can
somebody explain this in a vocabulary I can understand
or refer me to a website.  Your patience is greatly
appreciated.
