Continuing a bit on this subject.

It looks like TCLUG and the local 2600 group didn't do shabbily at all,
looking at the 2600 reports of how things went around the US and Canada:

A lot of people got kicked out, many while being told that they could
just ask for a permit or other permission to be able to do things closer
next time.  However, it sounds like the public was largely receptive,
even though the management of the various establishments usually wasn't.
