Mail Domains and User Seperation

Heres The deal:
For the corporate servers I was inquiring about earlier: We will have
between 5 and 40 Domain names pointing to the same IP. Is it possible to
have do mail for all the domains? We need both POP and SMTP mail. Also is
tehre a way to separate spools and password files for each domain? So
domain 1 would use /var/spool/mail and /etc/passwd, 2 would use
/var/spool/school2 and /etc/passwd.2? Is this possible? We will have
between 500 and 60,000 accounts all email. We would like to prevent name
conflicts for instance so we don't get to jdoes from different schools
trying use the name jdoe. We would like to use the sam convention <first
name plus 1st 2 letters of last name for all students>. Is this possible?
Each school will have a domain and mail for students at that school will
arrive and be sent from that domain?

    Eg
        domain1.com, domain2.com domain3.com all Have teh IP 206.191.221.199
        domain1.com will use /etc/passwd and /var/spool/mail
        domain2.com will /etc/passwd.2 and /var/spool/school2
all users at domain2.com will have smtp headers to and from
domain2.com not the primary host domain1.com?

Is any of this possible or does it even make sense?
