Kernel keybd routines
So I'm playing with the old 386 laptop I got from Senor
Palmer, and sure enough -- just as he said -- it's happy
to run pre 2.0 kernels, but if you try and load > 2.0, it
doesn't understand the keyboard. (It's aN I.B.M. L40SX PS/2
386 laptop.)
I'm idly curious about what in the kernel handles the keyboard and its
interrupts. Perhaps a 2.2 kernel with a 1.2 keyboard module could be
built? Any experts?
