killing a dead process

Hi everyone,

Is there anyway to kill a process that is dead and has the 'D' flag in ps?
For example:

[root@www Zope]# ps ax | grep python
 5495 ?        D      0:00 /usr/local/bin/python/usr/local/src/Zope-2.1.2-src/z
