VAr station death

I got a VarStation that is dead. I believe it was because someone plugged the
vaccuum cleaner into my UPS and it shorted something out.

The symptoms are no video, not even the POST screen. 

On boot the computer gives the normal boot beep, then 2 short beeps. It's a
Tyan 1832 motherboard, but the documentation that comes with it does not have
any diag codes for the beeps.

Anyone help me out?
