Note these are in the asm directory. Older kernels had some illegal syntax
that older versions of GCC allowed, but newer ones do not. I guess you are
using some version of GCC like 2.95, praps? The GCC README suggest version
2.7.2 for old kernels.

Can't find a binary of the kernel anywhere?
