If it truly is an 800K Mac disk, you can't read it on a PC without a
special controller. (A CatWeasil, IIRC...) 400 and 800k Mac disks used
GCR encoding. When Apple went to 1.44mb disks, they switched to MFM like
PCs use, so 1.44mb Mac disks can be read on a PC. (as well as Macs could
then read PC disks...)
