Yeah, but I couldn't remember if I'd made any references to "Borgs" or
"orgies" or suchlike.

Actually, what I should have posted as a correction is this:

Look for the article "Shiny, Aluminum, Plastic, and Digital", which is the
well-researched, factually based version of my awkward rant.  I'm posting
this link because I think many of you may find the other stuff on this page
interesting as well.  Negativland are key proponents for the alteration of
US copyright law, the extension of Fair Use, and ending copyright squabbles
over sampling -- sort of the Richard Stallmans of music.
