I thought that's what the first line of my reply said, too.  But I'd just
like to add:  radio doesn't work underwater.

Actually, though, Clancy only had subs getting radio at antenna depth or
ELF, IIRC.  But, the important point is making sure that the underwater
radio horse is well beaten!
