I had this happen before with ApplixWare. Unmount the disk, they mount it
like this:
mount -r -t iso9660 /dev/cdrom /mnt/cdrom 

Some cdroms seem to have issues with running executables with unless you
tell it read only, even though I had read only specified in fstab it didn't
work until I manually mounted it. 

Give it a try, if it doesn't work, I'll have to look at some other
documentation, which is about 25 minutes away from where I am now.
