Fetchmail oddity

I have a fetchmail process running that get mail from multiple accounts and
stores them on my server. I recently added another account to the run, and
whenever I get a mail addressed to that account, I get a corresponding mail
from cron daemon stating "fetchmail: unrecognized pop3 command". A real
informative message. I receive the original mail without a problem. I can't find
anything in the logs that indicates a problem. A clue anyone?
