Re: [TCLUG:143] Acceptable Use

Well, the mailing list is tighly integrated with the website. Take a
look at:

http://tclug.real-time.com/mhonarc/maillist.html OR
http://tclug.real-time.com/mhonarc/threads.html

Be default every post to the tclug-list is automagically posted to the
website. So, by creating a new mailing list (tclug-jobs) you will get
a web site in for "free".

Also the mailing list allows you to retrieve archived postings. Like
this:

   <tclug-list-get.12_45@listserv.real-time.com>:
Retrieve a copy of messages 12 to 45 from the archive.
A maximum of 100 messages are returned per request.

   <tclug-list-index.123_456@listserv.real-time.com>:
Retrieve subjects of messages, including 123 though 456
from the archive. Subjects are returned in sets of 100.
A maximum of 2000 subjects are returned per request.

   <tclug-list-thread.12345@listserv.real-time.com>:
Retrieve a copy of all messages with the same subject
   as message 12345.

So, I think a mailing list is perfect :-)
