I would never buy a full system from Best Buy, but hardware is another
matter.  The stuff they sell is decent and affordable.  So while I'll
never buy a computer from there (PACKARD HELL!), I have no qualms about
getting my new hard drive or RAM from there.

Watch out for their modems, though.  Sneaky little bastards like to sell
WinModems (without expressly telling you that).  If you run Linux, ask the
sales person EXPLICITLY if the modem is a Windows-only modem.  If they
can't answer the question accurately, don't buy the modem from there.
