If you already have linux installed (I'm assuming you do because otherwise
swap would be setup during the install), use fdisk to make a partition
swap (type 82), I think you might have to reboot after this, I'm not sure.
Then type "mkswap /dev/hd??" as root and format the hd?? with the swap
filesystem (this is how I think of it at least). The run "swapon" (you
might need some promaters, check the man page). To make sure this worked,
run top and it will tell you top swap space, how much is being used, how
much avalable.  I've old done this once so I hope I remembered what to do
