The dreaded LI!  Ususally this means that you didn't make your ENTIRE
root partition live below the first 1023 Cylinders and you've got a not
supurbly new BIOS.  I've done this so many times I should receive a
trophy from the LI(LO) people.  Check the RedHat websites excellent
searchable tech support FAQ for more info, but in short just make a
small (100 meg) root partition and then put /home and /usr off of it. 
Nine times out of 10 that's what's causing the LI.
