Re: [TCLUG:2390] Dual Screen on Linux

I have a Dell with TWO Matrox Millennium video cards which supports TWO Sony
monitors. I have a dual boot system with NT and RedHat Linux 5.1. I got Dual
screen working in NT by set the Sreen width property to 2048 pixel  instead of
1024 pixel. My RedHat 51. can autodetect my vedio card and monitor but only for
one screen.

    My questions are:

    1. How do I get the dual screen working?
    2. Is there a Dual Screen Linux How To? If so, what is the Web address.

Appreciate any hint mailto:tuxx0010@tc.umn.edu

As far as I know, the only way to get this working with Linux is to use the Multi-head X server from Xi Graphics, which will cost you a pretty penny.  Check www.xig.com.
