Re: [TCLUG:2406] modem woes



yeah, I had a similar problem for a while.  Mine would connect and the text
(all the prompts) would take forver to show up, it would then disconnect.
it turned out my modem and com port each had different IRQ's.  make sure
the jumper settings on your modem match the settings in setserial.
