COW 3.00pl1 released

Hi, 

Looks like Sven didn't fix the cow@netrek.org alias yet. So I send this mail
directly to vanilla-clients as well. If you get it twice, the alias will work
again.

I've tagged the current COW CVS tree with the pl1 label.

COW_3_00pl1

and uploaded the distribution to bigbang and cow.netrek.org Web page as well.
If you hold a COW 3.00 binary key, please compile a blessed binary.
The new pixmap file is available on the Web server only.

New features since pl0 are

Win32 support (Cygnus gcc)
new metaserver stuff
better hockey support (requires new pixmaps)

For detail see the CHANGES file.

Known Problems:

         Sometimes the colored ships have color disturbences
         when having the shields up. In this case start COW
         with the option:
             [-n]   use nearest colors in shared colormap

        Under Win32: Colored weapons and background doesn't work.
