FWIW, We've been looking to run OSPF for quite some time now, But
just haven't due to the rumors of it being so instable. Also there are
other issues as routes fed from radius being treated as external routes
and etc.., But I am working with engineering to get those addressed..

If you have a VERY old chassis it doesn't have the power to run 56K
modems.
When we built those old Maxen, there was no knowledge that someday we
would
have 56K modems that needed extra power. Check with the TAC to find out if
your box is too old. The solution is to get a more recent Max.
Is this offical now? I still have not seen an offical statement
from Ascend regarding this problem. What is the serail # cuttoff, Is
it still 645XXX?? Or is it just any 2 fan chassis? Or is it any box
that has a 1.2 powersupply?
