Re: (ASCEND) Max 200 Rebooting itself?
When you say not responding to telnets... Are you sure that it is rebooting
itself? or is it maybe losing ethernet connectivity? When you telnet to
this box, drop out to your term serve, esc [ esc 0, and type 'show uptime',
to your suprise it may say up for days... Then you could have yourself
another kind of problem, not rebooting. But then again it may say up for
mintues, and I would have been COMPLETELY off target, but just thought I
would try :). I recently had the problem with an Ascend 1800 of mine... I
thought it was rebooting itself, but it had an ip conflict with another box
on that segment...
