Re: (ASCEND) Max 200 Rebooting itself?

We have had this problem with Max 200's for some time. We
       mostly run 5.0ai13 and 5.0A.
There seems to be great variability from Max 200 to Max 200.
In the UK we now have a Max 200 running
5.0ai13 and its been up 23 days. In Rattingen Germany running
the same code rev it's been up only 4 days.
And in Paris with the same code rev - oops Paris is down. In
Taipei running 5.0A we're up now 22 days. But in Singapore
with the same rev we're down every couple of days. And in my
experience once the Max 200 goes down -
it does not spontaneously come back.

In the UK we had seen the hourly boot phenomenon. Eventually
it would lock hard. It took two hardware replacements
to eventually get stability. I am sorry to hear AP33 is not an
       improvement for the Max 200.

I have a max 200, which is not used regularly, as ARA does not work
properly yet. But it is used sometimes for Win95 dial-up.

At regular intervals (say every hour) it seems to be rebooting itself.
It sometime spends an hour our more rebooting itself, not responding
to telnets during those periods.

Its running release 5.0Ap33.

Does anyone know if this is a problem with this release or might it be
 hardware?
