Note there are SEVERAL hardware platforms for Pipes.

Oldest:		AC power adapter, daughterboard for U-channel, noswitch
Older			"	"	"	"	"      switch
Newer		DC out supply, switch, diff boards for U  & ST, 
Current		DC out, noswitch....

I welcome correction on this and hope the www page will be concise.
