(ASCEND) RE: P50 NVRAM to small?

        I was installing a brand new P50 (bought a few
        months ago), and made a not excessive amount of
        changes - don't know if that is more or less than
        quite a few. But I did indeed have filters with
        gaps.

        Anyway, I was not able to do any changes to the
        profile any more, so as instructed by Kevin, I set
        up a tftp server, tsaved the configuration, did an
        nvramclear, trestored the profile - but was not able
        to get a clean copy of the profile, miscellaneous
        parts of the profile were missing.

        I ended up in doing a new nvramclear and then
        manually re-entering everything, and, as forewarned
        by David Bivens, did not leave any gaps in the
        filter definitions.

        Since then, everything has worked ok.
