(ASCEND) Re: Ascend 50 to PM3

Hello,
This is my first time on this list.. I did look at livingston's home page,
had no luck for the following..problem.


PM-3 is connected to Telco via a Channelised T1 (I wish I had PRI and could
save all the trouble)  and uses BSDi based RADIUS to authenticate the calls,
it accepts all the analog calls just fine.

I am trying to connect a Ascend/Pipeline50, with an intention to get a 56k
x2(B-Channels) +more(with compression).

My user file on radius has an entry for a static IP address for my name. I
checked with analog call and I do get static address when I dial in. I have
used this address for Ascend, I have configured the Ascend properly so, I
have a user name and password etc.. But it will not connect.

I understand I have to turn on data over voice to dial out from Ascend50
box.. Any idea how that done or it's not possible at all..

Interesting enough, when I run dialout on isdn and run debug on PM-3, I see
nothing.. I tested my ISDN Circuit-it has no problem.

Any tip.. I have wasted all day trying to find some answer..
