He speaks as a representative of Ascend, just as I speak for PSN. List or
not is irrelevant.

I wasn't asking for respect. I was asking for common decency. It's the
adage "Common sense isn't." It's a simple matter to speak in one tone vs.
another. If you want people to buy your product, you don't tell them it's
a joke to compare to someone else.

Obviously it went over your head, but again, it wasn't directed toward
you, so I don't expect you to understand it.
When I send email from my work address, it's work related, therefore I
represent my company. I don't think much of anyone else here can argue
that. That was my point in regards to Matt. If I post from my personal
email address, then I can expect to represent myself.
In most cases, you can't decide this email represents your company and
that one doesn't.
