I think there is some kind of new reporting in AT&V1 or 2 that shows if you
have a digital path. Maybe someone knows more?

A DACS does not convert to analog. You need to make sure you leave the
egress switch at a digital trunk interface. There should be no channel
banks involved. The T1 should be clean end to end.
