Usually, the newer codes tend to fix earlier problems (or at least 
have a stab at making their impacts smaller).

Rockwell are somewhere in the 1.16x area at the moment.

There is a beta code of 1.161 (UK version) for the Hayes 56K 
Speakerphone on ftp.demon.co.uk in /pub/vendors/hayes at the moment.

I haven't seen any higher as yet.
