Re: (ASCEND) K56..
We are running AMI/D4 and most of our customers are getting 44-50K.
However, we do have some customers that can't do better then V.34 speeds.
We have had them bring the problem modems/computers in and can get 56K
speeds from our shop, so the problem around here is in GTE's circuits - in
particular, their switches.
We had GTE re-route some people so they passed through different switches
and that solved the problem for them. It takes GTE about 20 minutes to
setup new call routes, but it is not something they like to do.
