(ASCEND) Pipeline 75, 2 channels, and ACO

Okay, so I finally got ACO (aka ACOU and FCO) configured on my most
recently installed ISDN line (just moved).

I can't figure this out. If set the Pipe to...

	Base Ch Count=2
	Min Ch Count=2
	Max Ch Count=2

Scenario #1
-----------
I connect to my ISP at two channels, and pick up the phone. The one
channel drops as expected. But when I hangup the phone, the second
channel does NOT come up again.

Scenario #2
-----------
I connect to my ISP at two channels. A call comes in. The second channel
is dropped to let the call through. When the call ends, the second channel
does NOT come up again.

What's going on? I'm connecting to a Livingston PM3 at the far end. Is the
feature also reliant on DBA with an Ascend at the far end? If so (which I
suspect), then that's really getting retarded.

If Base Ch Counter=2, then the Ascend should simply see that the channel
is available again and place restore the second data channel. It's really
got nothing to do with DBA.

Any answers? And when is Ascend finally going to bring out a software
revision that supports DBA without and Ascend at the far end? You know,
like the new Zyxel Prestige routers do it. The ones that we're switching
some of our new clients over to because the Ascend's require Ascends at
both ends (for DBA)--which isn't always cost-effective.
