It is very apparent why Ascend Stock should be slipping 1) Tech support is slipping very faster than the stock.. 2) Ascend is not supporting the reseller community. I just lost a $30K sale because Ascend salespeople offered a get two (Max 4048) , get something free deal that "was not available through resellers" Cisco and others are vastly improving their reseller support. 3) Attitude at Ascend. They want me to buy a support contract before they will answer questions in a timely contract. Other hardware vendors pay us (warranty credits) when we have to get patches to make the product work to the manufactures specifications. 4) Competing products that I have used recently have had far fewer time eating glitches.
