I read a lot of stuff about pcAnywhere behaviour and Ascend boxes
in this mailing-list. But I didn't find any answers that could help me.
>From time to time, we need to access a remote NT4.0 servers which is
located in Gaudeloupe about 7000 kms from Paris.
We are experiencing disconnections troubles between a MAX 4000 (5.0Ap3)
and a P50
(5.1Ap2) while using pcAnywhere (version 7.5).
The p50 loses its connection almost every 10 minutes. When it occurs the
only thing I can do is to reboot my P50. The MAX keeps running fine
without
any disturbances. I am actuallly quite amazed because the release 5.0AP3
is not
the best one I have ever seen on MAX boxes.
I don't know whether it is due to the long distance which involves
satellites in the
ISDN traffic or only due to pcAnywhere.
Any suggestions ?
Thanks a lot,
