hint.. use a terminal program for dos, windows hyper terminal is usually not that stable when doing this... procomm plus for dos is my favorite... First you need to go ascend's ftp site, ftp.ascend.com, go into /pub/Software-Releases/Pipeline/Release-5.1A/, set to binary, and get b.p50 Unplug Wan and Lan cables from pipeline Boot to dos open procomm plus for dos hit control L hit esc [ esc - then you should see CKCKCKC then hit pageup then Xmodem then the file name (i.e. b.p50) it will start sending, and then reboot itself with the new software revision. if it doesnt boot back, then you broke it. call ascend- 1-800-272-3634 At 01:35 PM 11/11/97 +0100, you wrote: >"Kevin S.
