I have configured our radius server to with a couple of dialout user id's. I see the routes load when I "Upd Rem Cfg". I see the radius daemon query for and receive the dialout user information when I ping the remote site. But the 1800 never appears to actually dial out. If I configure this same site information in the 1800's built in profiles, it works okay. There must be a hidden switch in the 1800 that I have forgotten to turn on to allow the dial out. Any ideas? This is one example dialout profile... route-mitra-gw-1 Password = "xxxxx", User-Service = Dialout-Framed-User Framed-Route = "192.1.1.0/24 192.1.1.1 1 n plab-out" plab-out Password = "xxxxxx" User-Service = Dialout-Framed-User, User-Name = "plab", Ascend-Dial-Number = "97465859", Ascend-Send-Auth = Send-Auth-None, Ascend-Metric = 1, Framed-Address = 192.1.1.1, Framed-Netmask = 255.255.255.0, Framed-Route = "192.1.1.0/24 192.1.1.1 1", Framed-Protocol = MPP, Framed-Compression = Van-Jacobsen-TCP-IP, Framed-Routing = None, Ascend-Data-Svc = Switched-modem, Ascend-Idle-Limit = 60, Ascend-Route-IP = Route-IP-Yes, Ascend-Idle-Limit = 60 # I have created this dial in user for this same account, but I don't # know if it is actually needed by the 1800 or radius.
