If this setting is set to: Framed-Routing = Broadcast-Listen, your users will continuously receive RIP broadcasts. Unless you have users with Subnets dialling in and using the default Radius Authentication, there is no need for RIP across a user port. So, we did a test a made to identical logins with one set to: Framed-Routing = Listen, and the other Framed-Routing = Broadcast-Listen, and lo and behold, the first one was able to let the user drop his link when it became inactive. We have had several customers complaining of $2K phone bills due to this minor oversight!
