X.75 (this this the NNI X.25 version of X.75) happens in the carrier network. Not the Max. This is one of the many difficult points to AO/DI. The X.25 transit network isn't ubiquitously prepared to scale up to handle a lot of dynamic VC's. The other major problem is that carriers in general do not have an army of trained order-takers and other behind the scenes people to offer this new service. >Dial-up may be dead in two years' time in the US (?), but over here it >will take longer.
