The disconnection problem sounds like the LQM bug. That issue, at least, is
resolved by disabling LQM.
As for whether to upgrade or not, what does it give you? If there's a
feature you want, I'd say try it out. The TAOS releases are working very
well for me.
But if there's nothing there you want and things are working fine, why fool
around? Go the 6.0.2 (or later) to fix the ping-of-death bug and leave it
at that.
Of course, I can't stand not having the latest, so I'm always taking arrows
in the back. ;-)
