RE: (ASCEND) TNT: Cause code 185
The TNT I refer to has a CT3 card and about a dozen PRIs on the CT3.
When I went to 2.1.3, I was seeing entire PRIs dropping, D-channel
failures, and lots of users getting kicked (probably a result of the PRI
failures).
I have worked with Ascend TAC, and they say they have a fix for the
d-channel failures and PRI drops. I am downloading an engineering
release of 2.1.3 now. I will apply it to this particular TNT in the
morning. Can you tell me more about the LQM bug, and how to avoid it?
Should LQM be on or off? How do I set it?
I look forward to the stability of which you speak (and the v.90
support). I'll post the results to the list.
Thanks,

IME, 2.1.3 is by far the most stable release I've seen
for any Ascend box,
notwithstanding the LQM bug.
Ascend Support told me to check brouterstat at peak
useage times and make
sure low memory didn't get below 500 or the DRAM card is
needed. We didn't
need it and 2.1.3 has been close to perfect.
